Texas CC Webinars

Texas CC webinars will provide ESC staff opportunities for

• continuing collaboration within and among ESCs on school support team (SST) efforts and professional development support required under NCLB, and on systemic improvement,
• expanding their understanding of critical factors central to improving school performance, and
• supporting TEA initiatives that contribute to increased student performance.

Audience

The target audience is ESC staff who

• train and work with school support teams that work with Title I schools,
• work with district and school leaders, including teachers, to increase student achievement

Participation

• Participants will register individually for Texas CC webinars; however, it is highly recommended that staff in each ESC convene to participate as a learning community. For example, ESC staff should plan to assemble in one room, with a shared computer, projector, and speaker-phone to facilitate group conversation and reflection.
• Webinars will provide multiple opportunities for participants to interact within and across ESCs and thus strengthen regional and statewide networks for supporting TEA initiatives.
• ESC staff who are unable to participate in the Texas CC live webinars, may access the recorded webinars in the archive.
